Role
Reporting to the client partner, the role will involve assisting our clients in a range of business advisory services, including profit or cash-flow improvement, business grant and finance applications, strategic planning and systems implementation. With strong technical knowledge and expertise accumulated over many years’ supporting clients in a broad range of sectors, this is a perfect opportunity for a qualified accountant wishing to develop their professional expertise, to help our clients identify opportunities for improvement and provide practical solutions with hands-on support.
Remuneration
A competitive package is offered, including salary, performance related bonus, and CPD allowance.
Role Responsibilities
- Analysis of financial data
- Building detailed financial forecasting models
- Preparing cash flows including sensitivity analysis
- Compilation of Business Plans
- Completion of Enterprise Ireland/ Leo/ Leader Grant applications
- Grant certification
- Internal system reviews for clients
- Compilation of System Specification documents
- Liaising with banks & financial institutions re funding applications and loan issues
- Preparation of management accounts
- Research critical assumptions/KPI’s for various industries
- Forensic accounting work
- Other ad-hoc duties
The Candidate
- Qualified Accountant with minimum 3 years PQE
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent report writing ability
- Good problem solving ability and attention to detail
- Proficient in use of various computerised accounts packages
- Experience gained in industry desirable
- Enjoy working as part of a team
