Amatino was founded in 1993 by two dedicated accountants with a vision to provide practical, high-quality accountancy services to local businesses. From those early days, we’ve grown steadily—today, with six partners and over 50 staff across Monaghan, Carrickmacross, and Cavan, we’re proud to be the largest Chartered firm in the northeast.

Our name is inspired by Amatino Manucci, a 13th-century Italian accountant often credited with some of the earliest records of double-entry bookkeeping. His innovative thinking reflects our own commitment to accuracy, clarity, and continual improvement in everything we do.
