The event was a great success and over €50,000 has been raised so far which is a testament to the generosity of local people and the businesses. Donations can still be made by sending cheques to Cancer Tractor Run, c/o Crossdoney Tractor Sales, Crossdoney, Co Cavan.
The vintage tractor towed a wagon and team of drivers on the long journey from Mizen Head in West Cork. The wagon was covered in the names of individuals and businesses who donated to the worthy cause.
